3) BLG Client Consultation Competition Registration Deadline – FRIDAY

The registration deadline for the BLG Client Consultation Competition is coming up fast! Space is limited to the first 42 teams and the deadline for registration is Friday, January 11th (first-come, first-served). Over half of the registration spots have already been filled. To register, email Sierra Robart (sierra.robart@mail.utoronto.ca) and Peter Flynn (peter.flynn@mail.utoronto.ca) with the Full Name, Email Address, and Contact Number for both yourself and your teammate.

There will also be an information session on January 9th from 12:30-2:00pm in the Moot Court Room.

The BLG Client Counselling Competition provides students with the opportunity to hone their soft skills in an exciting competition format. Hosted at BLG, students compete in teams of two, conducting a mock-interview with a potential client. The competition focuses on interviewing, planning, and analytical skills in the lawyer-client relationship in the law office. No substantive legal knowledge is required, and 1Ls are strongly encouraged to participate – the competition is open to all 1L and 2L students at the law school.

The winners of this competition will be sent to the national competition, held at Queen’s University this year. Winners of that competition have the opportunity to represent Canada at the International Competition in Glasgow, Scotland

4) Call to the Bar
