2) Call to the Bar: It’s that time of year where the weather is turning and we start to desperately cling to whatever remains of the hot, lazy days of summer. Like those flip flops that you insist on wearing well into October. Trust us, they need to go. But don’t worry, the SLS has got your back and will help you hold onto those sweet summer memories a bit longer. This week’s Call to the Bar will be held on Thursday, October 4 at Souz Dal (612 College Street between Bathurst and Ossington) starting at 10pm. Come out and enjoy their tiki patio, complete with beach sand floor and rattan umbrellas. Drink specials will be Amsterdam Blonde and Big Wheel beers for $4 each and Caipirinhas for $5.75 each. 3) Build Your Professional Network – Register for the Alumni-Student Mentorship Program by MONDAY October 8: Take advantage of this tremendous opportunity to connect with the law school’s alumni. You will learn more about the legal profession and explore the various opportunities that a legal education can provide while building your network of contacts. All students are welcome! 4) Graduation Photos October 3 – 5, Jan 21: To all the 3L peeps, grad photos will be taken in the SLS Office from Oct 3rd to 5th and January 21st (22nd and 23rd if necessary). You must have your photo taken to appear in the Graduating Class Composite (this is serious business). Included in your photo session are a minimum of 10 unique online proofs and a copy of the class composite. Optional hard copy proofs may be purchased for an additional $5.00. You must sign up online to book your appointment.
