1. SLS Townhall – Monday March 2nd at 1:00pm
The SLS will be hosting a Townhall TODAY at 1:00pm in the SLS Office (location may change if our room booking request for Falconer is accepted) to discuss the SLS’s advocacy efforts, its strategy moving forward and the Spring Pledge Drive campaign in particular. SLS Equity Officer Andrew Wang will moderate the discussion. 2. SLS-CDO Financial Literacy Seminar
A recording of Friday’s Financial Literacy Seminar Part I will be available on UTLawCareers. Questions that you would like answered at Seminar Part II on March 13th can be sent to Emily Orchard, who will pass them along to Richard Daugherty of Ogilvie Daughtery Financial Services. Richard has also indicated a willingness to consult students one-on-one for individualized advice.
3. U of T Law Inspires! – March 3rd at 12:30 – 2:00pm
The SLS and Baker & McKenzie present U of T Law Inspires on March 3rd during the lunch hour in the Vic Chapel! 6 speakers, 60 minutes. Founded in 2013, U of T Law Inspires gives 5 members of our faculty and one SJD student 10 minutes each to talk about any topic of their choosing. No structure. No syllabus. Just whatever inspires them. Pizza lunch will be served.
4. SLS Law Ball – March 5th
Law Ball will take place this Thursday, March 5th at 7:00pm for dinner, and at 10:00 for the dance at Atlantis Pavilions (955 Lake Shore Blvd W) Don’t forget to bring your ID. We can’t wait to see you there!

5. The Law Students’ Society of Ontario (LSSO)
The Law Students’ Society of Ontario (LSSO) will be holding its Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Saturday, March 14, 2015, at Osgoode Hall Law School from 10:00am to 5:30pm. Students who wish to attend as observers should email firstname.lastname@example.org so that they can ensure their facilities can accommodate interested parties.
The LSSO is also seeking non-graduating students to fill the following Executive positions: President, VP Internal, VP External and Equity Officer. The campaign period is open as of February 28th and nominations will remain open until March 14th. Since nominations must be made by a current member school, please notify email@example.com if you would like to be nominated by the SLS.
