1) SLS By-Election

SLS is holding a by-election to fill the two vacant 3L Social Affairs positions. If you are interested in running, please email elections.sls@gmail.com. Nominations close Friday, November 13, at 5:00pm.

Voting will take place Monday, November 16 until Wednesday, November 18 at lunch outside the Birge Carnegie reading room.

2) Financial Aid Committee Meeting

The Financial Aid Committee will be meeting this week to discuss financial aid matters, including access to financial aid data, access to credit, the financial aid calculator, and how the financial aid system can be improved in general. The Students’ Law Society invites students to come to the upcoming SLS meeting on Monday, November 9th at 12:30pm in Flavelle House to provide feedback regarding these important issues.

Students who are unable to attend the meeting are encouraged to send their comments with respect to financial aid matters directly to the SLS atsls.law@utoronto.ca.

3) Call to the Bar

Pub night this week will take place at 10pm on Thursday November 12th at Croc Rock (240 Adelaide St W). Come join us for drinks, good conversation, and karaoke with a live band! Accessible washrooms are located inside. Find the event on Facebook here.
